Following last weekend’s COA meeting, we received a lot of questions about how to collect atlas data. Answers to most questions can be found on the project web site, but we are also running training sessions around the state over the next couple of months. Craig Repasz, atlas volunteer coordinator, ran the first of these last Monday at Western Connecticut State University. Other scheduled sessions are listed here. Note that the time original posted for the Fairfield session on 19th May was wrong; the correct time is 10 am.
We thank the many partner organizations that are helping us to host these sessions, in particular Connecticut Audubon Society and Audubon Connecticut, which are each hosting multiple events.
